Wiêen

Commissioned by Wiêen, CSE Elektrotechniek created the foundation for a smart "wow effect" in the wine bar in Weert. Lighting plays an important role in this. This project is a great example of what we can achieve together with our partners and proves that a stunning atmosphere stands or falls with the right lighting.

Wine in the spotlight

Project Wiêen Weert

Diagonally opposite the Gotcha, on the spot where brasserie De Corti used to be, has been a beautiful wine bar since 2021: Wiêen. The owner had a very clear goal in his mind. Not only did he aspire to a place where he could put wine on the menu and map; he wanted to create a stunning experience. In short: a stylish environment was needed where people could taste and purchase their favourite wine(s). To make this a reality, he called upon, among others, a lighting specialist who he instructed to find a reliable installer. This was how CSE Elektrotechniek stepped into the spotlight. It was the beginning of this delightful assignment and a great collaboration.

Wow! At Wiêen

After the planned modifications, including the installation of electricity, Wiêen opened its doors as a wine bar; a place where wine tasting and checking out the atmosphere go hand-in-hand. In this unique setting, wine lovers can get to know well-known and lesser known (chilled) wines while enjoying a snack from the in-house kitchen. Needless to say, the various wines on the drinks menu are extensively highlighted. But not only that: in the bar, bottles of wine are literally in the spotlight. The remaining mood lighting completes the picture. All this was made possible by CSE Elektrotechniek.

The power of collaboration

Sometimes we are involved in an entire project; other times we only step in at a later stage. The latter was the case with this assignment. In the first phase, lighting specialist Pro Light was commissioned by Wiêen and drew up a bespoke lighting plan. When it became clear that the existing electricity network was inadequate and that an electrical contractor was needed, Pro Light referred the client to CSE Elektrotechniek. Not much later, we shook hands. Taking into account the drawings from De Pinmaekers Interieurs and the lighting plan from Pro Light, CSE Elektrotechniek purchased the required materials from Rexel and took care of the entire e-installation. Finally, Pro Light installed the lighting fixtures. So together we created a beautiful ambiance in the Wiêen wine bar in Weert.
