Interduct launches the Powertrain
The technical heart of the home
After an intensive development process and the necessary test phases, the Powertrain is ready for large-scale deployment. The frame with its soundproof casing provides enough space for all the components required for ventilation, heating, hot water supply and electricity generation. This means the Powertrain is the technical heart of the home. "The Powertrain is delivered prefabricated and can therefore be installed ready-to-use in the house. This saves time, offers opportunities for cost savings and is a good addition to the growing trend of prefabricated construction," says Louis Nijssen, Head of Engineering at Interduct. "In addition, residents gain more usable space, have less noise pollution and a neat, safely enclosed attic." Powertrain fits in seamlessly with the Building Quality Assurance Act.
Our own production process
Both the construction and assembly of the Powertrain take place at the factory of an Interduct subsidiary, Robé. This is always carried out in consultation with the client and the fitters involved. It is agreed in consultation whether a standard design will do the job, or whether customisation is needed. The latter might be necessary, for example, for installation over a stairwell or below a pitched roof. Applying a powder coating in the desired RAL colour is also an option. Due to the recent merger of Robé - formerly Interduct Products, Bemar Production and Robé - the processes are now (even) better streamlined.
