Leading in ventilation technology
Always a suitable ventilation solution for your project
Did you know that the air in many spaces is constantly under pressure? Occupancy (CO2), cooking or showering (moisture and particulate matter), machinery and materials ((fine) dust) or parking facilities (nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide) – and these are just a few examples of factors that can affect air quality. In short, ventilation is essential. Natural ventilation is an option, but it is almost always insufficient and can even be unpleasant at certain times. With a mechanical ventilation system, the end user is always assured of a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate. Interduct is happy to help you achieve this. We design and install customised ventilation systems that are more than worth their investment. We also develop and manufacture innovative solutions that contribute to an energy-efficient, sustainable and future-proof installation. Feel free to contact us for a no-obligation consultation or more information about our services or products.

Ventilation requirements and guidelines
Ventilation according to the highest standards
Due to climate targets and growing awareness of the importance of clean air, more companies and individuals are opting for mechanical ventilation. In new buildings, this is even mandatory due to strict insulation requirements. Without mechanical ventilation, hardly any fresh air can enter, let alone polluted air being removed. The Environment Buildings Decree (Bbl) describes exactly which ventilation requirements a home or building must meet. Additional guidelines can be found in the NEN standards (such as NEN 1087 and NEN 8087) and any other related regulations, such as the SWK, Woningborg and Working Conditions Act for working environments. By complying with these laws and regulations, you are guaranteed to offer residents, employees or other end users a healthy indoor climate. Will you choose Interduct as your ventilation partner? Then you are assured of a ventilation system that meets all requirements and standards.

From advice to installation (and more)
Our approach
Good ventilation starts with good preparation. We study the situation, discuss any specific requirements, calculate the ventilation requirements and investigate the possibilities. With this information, we can provide you with appropriate advice and a suitable design. Do you agree with our proposal? Then our work planners will start the next steps as soon as possible: purchasing and planning. If necessary, we always coordinate the latter with you to keep disruption to a minimum. For example, we carry out work outside working, school or opening hours as much as possible, or during holidays.
We also ensure that our schedule fits in seamlessly with that of any other parties involved. Of course, we will only deliver the installation once it has been carefully adjusted and tested, so that you can be assured of a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate for the end user(s) from that moment onwards. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure that the system continues to perform well in the long term. With our maintenance contract, we take care of this for you. In this way, we supervise the ventilation project from start to finish and ensure healthy air, now and in the future.
Frequently asked questions
Is mechanical ventilation really necessary?
Yes, in most cases it is. Not only to prevent structural damage and health complaints, but also to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Ventilation requirements are laid down in the Building Decree (now: Decree on Buildings in the Living Environment (Bbl)) and are supplemented by provisions from, among others, the NEN standards, SWK, Woningborg and the Working Conditions Act. A well-designed and correctly installed ventilation system contributes to a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate and extends the life of the building, installations, equipment and materials, among other things. All the more reason to invest in professional mechanical ventilation.
What are the costs for a complete ventilation system?
The costs for a ventilation system depend entirely on the situation. Every home and every building is unique, so there is no standard solution. In short, ventilation is almost always customised. Each project is preceded by a thorough analysis. We look at the size of the building, its function and any relevant environmental factors, among other things. During this phase, you can also let us know your specific requirements. Once we have a complete picture, we will start working on the design and send you a proposal including a cost overview. Curious about the possibilities and costs for your project? Feel free to contact us.
What does a ventilation project involve?
The installation of a ventilation system involves several phases that must be carefully coordinated. One of our experts first conducts a thorough analysis to gain insight into the ventilation requirements, any specific wishes and the installation options. This information, together with the applicable laws and regulations (such as the Bbl and NEN standards), forms the basis for the design.
Once approved, we draw up the schedule, purchase and/or manufacture the necessary products and, if possible, assemble the elements. We then start installation on the agreed date and follow the schedule. The final phase involves adjusting and testing the systems, after which you will receive the necessary documentation, and we will deliver the project. Good coordination and adherence to agreements are essential throughout the entire process to limit inconvenience, prevent failure costs and achieve an optimally functioning system.
