Service and maintenance: continued enjoyment of clean air

A sustainable, healthy, and comfortable indoor climate starts with the right ventilation system. However, if you want to be assured of clean air at all times, you should also opt for regular maintenance. This ensures an optimal indoor climate and extends the service life of the system. Interduct would be delighted to assist you in making this happen. By having maintenance carried out in good time, residents and users enjoy consistently high air quality and the installation remains in top condition.

Comfort Services

From preventive maintenance to bespoke repairs

Maintenance of all types of ventilation systems

Whether it concerns a heat-recovery unit, a decentralised installation, roof ventilation or another type of MV system: Interduct ensures that everything continues to function optimally. We do this primarily by carrying out periodic maintenance, such as cleaning ducts, checking components and installing new filters. We also carry out repairs, resolve malfunctions and, if desired, will replace outdated or defective equipment. When replacing the ventilation unit or specific components, we always offer the choice between a completely new or a remanufactured product. Are you opting for the latter? Not only will you be offering residents and users a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate once again, but you will also be reducing your ecological footprint.

Sustainable health

The importance of maintenance

With a well-maintained ventilation system, residents and users will enjoy clean air not just today, but also tomorrow and into the future. It is therefore important to have the installation inspected regularly and to keep it in good condition. This prevents malfunctions and damage, extends the service life and ensures that the system continues to perform optimally. This is not only sustainable, but also essential for the well-being of residents and users.

Polluted indoor air – caused by CO2, VOCs and dust, among other things – can lead to health complaints such as respiratory problems, headaches, fatigue and loss of concentration. Furthermore, it may cause damage to the house or the property. With a properly functioning ventilation system, you don’t have to worry about this: the indoor air is continuously and efficiently refreshed, preventing moisture and (harmful) substances from accumulating.

The result? Optimal air quality, energy savings, lower operating costs, a future-proof building and a system that will continue to meet legal requirements in the long term.

With or without a contract

Interduct as your maintenance partner

Interduct is exactly place you need for everything related to ventilation, including service and maintenance. One-off maintenance is possible. However, would you prefer a completely hassle-free experience? Then opt for a maintenance contract. We will then visit the site annually or biannually, in the month or season that we determine together in advance. The frequency depends on the type of installation and your personal preferences, among other factors.

Apart from confirming the appointment – we will send you a notification in good time – you do not need to do anything yourself. One of our engineers will arrive at the agreed time to inspect the system and carry out the agreed maintenance work. Naturally, we will ensure that any inconvenience to residents and users is kept to a minimum. Additionally, we are always on standby to resolve any malfunctions quickly and efficiently.

Our service and maintenance companies

Interduct is a group of companies comprising more than 20 businesses, each contributing in its own way to the creation of a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate. Two of these companies specialise in service and maintenance: Comfort Services and Intovent. They basically offer the same services, but there are a few important differences:

  • Comfort Services: the partner for maintenance on large-scale projects, such as for housing associations, home-owners’ associations and commercial properties.

  • Intovent: focuses on service and maintenance work in private homes and also has its own online shop.

Both parties work closely together – with each other and with the other Interduct companies – to offer you the best possible service. We do this by sharing knowledge and supporting each other where necessary, among other things. This enables us to ensure that you can always count on fast and effective maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have maintenance carried out on an system that was not installed by Interduct?

Absolutely! We maintain all types of mechanical ventilation systems, regardless of who installed the system or which company previously carried out the maintenance. Based on the situation and any personal preferences, we provide advice and draw up a maintenance plan together. This plan serves as a starting point for periodic maintenance. This keeps the indoor climate healthy and the system in top condition.

Do you offer maintenance services for both businesses and private individuals?

Yes, we assist both business and private clients in ensuring clean air. After all, everyone has the right to a sustainable, healthy, and comfortable indoor climate. Business clients can contact Comfort Services, our specialist in large-scale maintenance projects, for service and maintenance. Are you a private individual? Then we would like to refer you to Intovent.

How often is preventive maintenance recommended?

That depends on several factors, such as the type of ventilation system, the intensity of use, the environment and the condition of the system. We therefore only determine the maintenance frequency once we have a clear picture of the situation and any personal requirements. In many cases, annual or biennial maintenance is sufficient. Should any issues arise in the meantime, we are of course always available to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Is a maintenance contract compulsory?

No, you can still come to us even without a contract. However, a maintenance agreement is advisable, because:

- maintenance is automatically scheduled and therefore not forgotten;

- we respond more quickly because we are already familiar with the situation and the system;

- in the event of malfunctions, you will be given priority over non-regular customers.

Do you have any questions or would you like to take out a maintenance contract? Please send an email to info@comfortservices.nl (business clients) or info@intovent.nl (private individuals).

What is the term of a maintenance contract?

The agreement shall be concluded for a minimum period of 24 months. If desired, this may be terminated earlier, with a notice period of three months. Cancellation must be made in writing or by email. And if you do nothing? The maintenance contract will then be tacitly renewed for another two years.

What does it cost to maintain a ventilation system?

Without knowledge of the situation, it is difficult to indicate what servicing your system(s) will cost. The price depends on various factors, such as the type of ventilation system, the maintenance frequency and the scope of the project. A different rate applies for one-off maintenance than for a maintenance contract. One thing is certain, however: good maintenance ultimately yields more than it costs.
