Natural resources are finite and the impact of CO₂ emissions is increasingly evident. That is why Interduct is fully committed to sustainability. Not only within our own operations, but also with regard to the products and services we provide. We have a clear goal: we want to be fully carbon neutral in 2040. An important subgoal is to reduce our CO2 footprint by 35% by 2028 compared to 2024. Remanufactured ventilation systems and parts play an important role in this. They provide a tangible, efficient and sustainable alternative within our sector.

Why choose remanufactured?

Remanufactured - or refurbished - ventilation products are an attractive alternative for both business customers and consumers. They are more affordable than new products and offer the same level of quality. In some cases, they may be even better thanks to optimised software and/or updated components. As a result, the lifespan is at least equivalent to a new system. Interduct also offers a warranty of up to five years, providing extra security and reliability. Choosing remanufactured products allows you to contribute to a circular world as well as meet increasingly important sustainability targets within projects and business operations.

A network in motion

Within our network of Interduct companies, we actively collect old ventilation boxes and HRV-units and sell remanufactured ventilation systems and parts. Demand is high, and in many cases it exceeds the available supply. For example, VentTrade now has 219 remanufactured items in their range, ranging from spare parts to combo packs and complete overhaul kits, and RenovAir recently requested 605 remanufactured systems.

In our B2C branch, we are noticing the same trend: Ventilatieshop sold 20 remanufactured units within one week during a pilot. Intovent has also permanently added two remanufactured versions of the most popular MV boxes to its range: the ComfoFan S and the Itho CVE S. This gives consumers direct access to an affordable and sustainable alternative to a newly produced system.

Circular products for professionals and consumers

Interduct makes all remanufactured parts available to installers, maintenance services and project organisations. This allows existing systems to be replaced and new systems to be constructed, both in a circular and cost-efficient manner. All products we reuse are carefully checked and then repaired or fitted with better components in the reusable parts. This makes remanufactured products equivalent to new systems in terms of quality, and sometimes even better.

Side by side to 2040

Interduct will continue to invest in circular solutions for homes and other buildings in the coming years. By structurally integrating remanufactured products into our services and making them available through our companies, we fulfil our responsibility and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable world
