Interduct and TOPS shake hands

Comments from Ruud and Tim Coppens, twin brothers and, together with Nico, the spiritual fathers and co-owners of the online shops within the TOPS group. "What started as an idea ten years ago on a tennis court, quickly grew into two mature online shops at home and abroad." In addition to their experience with online shops, Tim and Ruud also bring extensive experience in related areas that will be valuable for the future growth of the Interduct group. Tim's career so far has been mainly in the area of data analysis and production logistics at DAF Trucks. He has held various positions within DAF, including logistics manager of the truck cab factory in Belgium. Ruud has been involved in the development of several inner-city area improvement schemes. At both Ballast Nedam and SDK Vastgoed, his focus included the development of sustainable new housing designs. "Besides our good relationship with Frank, Ivo and Joyce, we believe that our ideas and experience will fit perfectly with Interduct's ambitions so that we can contribute to its further growth. We look forward to getting started on this, and getting to know the people and companies at Interduct!"

It is in Maarheeze, not far from where I live. I was there together with my colleague Suzanne, to talk about buying filters. After a very open and pleasant introduction, Nico and Sven gave us a tour and I saw much of our philosophy reflected; genuine attention to people development, an eye for where you come from, the human touch, care and attention to their customers. TOPS' services naturally also fit perfectly with our dream ambition in which we build a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate for everyone. Cycling back home, I could not avoid thinking: how cool it would be if we could merge the TOPS and Interduct teams." Frank adds: "Later, along with my colleagues Joyce and Ivo, I got to know Tim and Ruud. What good people they are, and how much knowledge and experience they bring in the online area. Their calmness, combined with their drive and ambition made a big impression. We are really looking forward to working with them to build up the development of TOPS and Interduct.

TOPS is a true family business founded in 1979 by Hans Tops. Due to Hans' unfortunate early death, the business was continued by Dinie Tops and later also Theo van den Boomen. Initially, TOPS mainly focused on supplying air filters to industrial paint shops and car repair shops. In 2009 Nico van den Boomen joined the company aiming for growth. Soon TOPS was also supplying air filters to installation companies, shipbuilders, hospitals and schools; in short, every type of filters for both home and building ventilation. In 2010, the TOPS WTW-filters online shop was established to service the consumer market as well. This proved to be a successful formula and we are currently the market leader in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria. In 2017, the acquisition of WTW-filtersOnline took place and TOPS grew into a company of 22 employees, based in a beautiful location in Maarheeze.

The Interduct Group turns 37 years old in 2021 and is the leading expert in the area of ventilation. The 11 Interduct companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, design, install and maintain ventilation systems. Interduct also has its own production facilities and supplies parts for ventilation systems. Every day around 200 employees at Interduct are busy providing a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate for everyone. Frank Huis, Joyce Philips and Ivo Hanssen form the management team and shareholders of the Interduct group. Following the acquisition of TOPS group, Tim and Ruud Coppens are joining the management team of the Interduct group. They will also become shareholders in Interduct.
