Looking back on an unforgettable VSK+E
Interduct wins jury and audience awards
After the first visitors entered the exhibition floor at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, the official opening was performed by Techniek NL chairman Mark Harbers. The VSK+E Awards were also presented at this event - the moment we, as nominees, had been eagerly awaiting. Our remanufactured ventilation units were not only popular with the professional jury, but also with the public: Interduct won both the jury prize in the category ‘Grip on tomorrow's energy’ and the public prize. This is the first time that a company has won both awards.
This double recognition means a lot to us. It confirms that remanufacturing is not only sustainable and efficient, but also a realistic, scalable alternative to complete replacement. By dismantling, reconditioning, and, where necessary, renewing existing parts, up to 84% less material is used and an average of 5.3 kg of CO₂ is saved per unit.
To everyone who voted for us: thank you very much! We couldn't have wished for a better start to the trade fair.
Networking and our partner meet-up
Every day of the trade fair was unique, and we are delighted to have welcomed so many suppliers, clients, customers, and other partners to our stand. Thursday was by far the busiest day. Not only because the fair was open longer that day, but also because it was dedicated to our partners. During our partner meet-up, there was extra space for sharing knowledge and ideas, while enjoying snacks and drinks. Our bartenders provided a pleasant surprise by serving freshly mixed cocktails. It was an intensive, but above all valuable and informative day.
What else caught our eye at the trade fair
In addition to the valuable discussions at our stand, we saw a number of clear trends in the sector that are perfectly in line with our course:
Smart, sensor-driven solutions are becoming standard: more and more climate systems switch autonomously based on CO₂, humidity, and temperature sensors. Demand-driven control is thus becoming the norm.
Circularity and energy efficiency have become prerequisites: heat recovery and circular solutions received a lot of attention. The growing emphasis on material impact, also mentioned by the jury, was central to many innovations.
Prefab concepts are gaining ground: integrated climate systems in compact, pre-assembled modules were frequently on display. They reduce installation time and minimize failure costs.
These developments show that the sector is becoming more professional and sustainable - a direction in which Interduct continues to invest with conviction and focus.
