Today, the Brabant-based installer and manufacturer Van der Putten becomes part of Interduct, the ventilation specialist in the Netherlands. By joining forces, both organisations will strengthen their position in the ventilation market, creating new opportunities for growth and development. Together, they will continue to build a sustainable, healthy and comfortable indoor climate, both in new and existing homes and buildings.

United in utilities

After a period of growth and professionalisation, Mark van Doormalen and Richard Donkers, the directors of Van der Putten, were looking for a partner with which they could elevate their business operations even further. In Interduct, they found an organisation with a like-minded customer-centric approach and the same quality standards. “We've known Interduct for years, and we had an instant click,” Richard says. “There is so much common ground and we’re finding that we’re really able to add value to each other.” Interduct's five-strong management team was also quick to recognise the rapport and compatibility. Director Joyce Philips explains: “Van der Putten operates in the mid-range utility segment, where we want to strengthen our position. Their professionalism, quality and strong management team are a perfect fit for our group.” Both parties are also of the mindset that two heads are better than one.

Part of the business group

Clients are unlikely to notice much of a difference following the acquisition. Mark: “We will continue to work as our customers have come to expect from us: with short lines of communication and a service-oriented approach. Only, we will soon be able to provide them with even better service”. Employees will notice numerous benefits such as additional scope for development and a wider range of opportunities for advancement. “And yet we can maintain the great culture we have developed,” says Richard. Interduct foresees potential advantages in terms of process optimisation and expansion. “Because our companies complement each other so well, we can work more efficiently and broaden our proposition,” Joyce explains. This includes Van der Putten’s machinery, which is used to manufacture rectangular ducts. “This is the focus of their operations, which is a welcome addition for Interduct.”

About Van der Putten

Its state-of-the-art machinery is a prime example of this. The ductwork and fittings it manufactures are intended exclusively for use within in-house projects.
